Enrico is leading on the development of Health economics models for our global and UK domestic clients and he provides health economics advice in market-access related projects.

He brings a wealth of experience as a health economist both within the pharmaceutical industry in his previous role as outcomes research manager at Pfizer, and in the academic sector in his roles at ScHARR and the National Collaborating Centre for Acute Care (NCCAC). During his period at ScHARR, he has worked as both health economist, analysing trial-based economic evaluations and providing statistical data to populate cost-effectiveness models; and as a modeller in numerous health technology assessments projects, in therapeutic areas such as breast cancer, depression and anxiety, osteoporosis, carotid stenosis, Gaucher's disease and heart failure. During his period as health economist at the NCCAC he has worked alongside the Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) surgical thrombo-prophylaxis guideline, using Bayesian evidence research synthesis techniques to estimate the risk of VTE and associated drug adverse events. In Pfizer, he has provided technical and strategic health economics support to global products in the areas of smoking cessation (Champix), diabetes, pulmonary arterial hypertension (Revatio) and VTE (Fragmin). He has also worked cross-brand to set up the model for HTAs and supporting products in the endocrinology (Genotropin) and cardiovascular-metabolic area.
